New in 2020

Kids Teaching Kids is calling all Victorian primary and secondary students to submit a creative video of 10 minutes or less about an environmental topic which aims to teach other kids about your environmental issue, activity or initiative.

Some ideas for your video include: drama, song, dance, storytelling, animation, stop-motion, claymation, narrate a power point, create a commercial or PSA, how-to videos (ex: how to make beeswax wraps, how to make a nest box, how to compost) … be as creative as you like!

Videos will be judged on creativity, environmental impact and video quality.

Top video submissions will be eligible to receive a grant for your school or community environmental action project up to $1000/school.

Some ideas for an environmental action project include starting a veggie patch, school tree planting, creating a compost bin, rain water collection bin, creating a frog bog and so much more.

Sponsored by the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.
