Experiences Education Kids Teaching Kids Distinctive Areas and Landscapes (DAL) The Victorian Distinctive Areas and Landscapes program aims to engage schools and the community in protection of the environmentally and culturally significant spaces ‘at their front door’. Funded by the Victorian Government’s Distinctive Areas and Landscapes Capital Grants Program, Kids Teaching Kids is working with local environmental stakeholders to provide teachers and students with immersive teaching and learning opportunities in four distinct areas: Macedon Ranges, Bass Coast, Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula. Image source: Engage Victoria Our Work Aligns With COVID Vaccination Policy Our COVID vaccination policy follows the latest Australian Government advice. For minors (students under the age of 18 years), COVID vaccinations are strongly encouraged and boosters are recommended. It is not compulsory for students to be vaccinated in order to participate in the Distinctive Areas and Landscapes program. All adults (over the age of 18 years) Earthwatch staff and on-ground research staff are required to produce verified proof of full COVID vaccination (double dose) when meeting with students and faculty both on and off school grounds unless medically exempt.
