Position Description

Position: Policy and Administration Intern
Department: Operations Team 
Reporting to: Head of Business Operations 
Hours: Minimum 80 hours
Timeline: July – October, 1-2 days p. week (hours flexible, must be available during working hours for communication with team)

Earthwatch is looking for a motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic intern to assist in the development/writing of internal policies and procedures and general administration of internal documentation. Qualifications or experience in areas such as HR, Admin and Technical Writing necessary. You will be working to help enhance our efficiency and consistency as a global environmental charity. 


  • Policy and procedure writing and editing in collaboration with supervisor

  • Maintaining and updating administrative file base, including admin files, contact files, customer details etc.

  • Working closely with whole organisation to understand administrative requirements
