Customer Experience Coordinator

Simon is the Customer Experience Coordinator at Earthwatch. Passionate about acoustic ecology, data sonification, sonic histories and ornithology, Simon is a citizen scientist at heart and loves using sound design practices to understand the environment and share its stories.

With a decade of customer service experience, Simon believes in the importance of genuine human interactions and that listening plays a fundamental role in the process. He has worked in marketing and brand building within the corporate travel sector and has gained an intricate understanding of complex customer environments after working in the securities exchange at a global share registry. Simon’s skills are in arts and design, creative communications and journey mapping.

Simon believes that by standing with everyday people, students, government, business and organisations that want to connect with the natural world and understand our influence on the environment, we can help to facilitate change on a local to global level.
